Beer Description
Hooper’s Barrel Aged Rye Porter is a beer that was a long time in the making. We start it out with a dark, earthy, rich, and robust, batch of our Rye Porter. We aged the porter for a full year in Four Roses Bourbon Barrels to give it a punch of oak, smoke, whiskey, and a smooth texture like polished leather in liquid form. Then we decided to get a little rowdy… in goes the Dark Chocolate and Smokey Chipotle Peppers. YeeHaw! Rich chocolatey aroma with a wisp of whiskey rises from the glass. The smooth dark chocolate barrel aged goodness moseys right into a warming rise of Smokey Chipotle Heat.
