Beer Description
Michael Plank 17th brewed Oils Dunkles in honor of his Grandfather’s (Michael Plank 15th) 80th birthday. He used his Grandfather’s historic recipe for this bottom fermenting lager. Very rich mahogany color. Caramel, toffee and a light roast on the nose that follows through to the palate with a touch of nuttiness and a wisp of smoke. Clean semi-dry finish with slight hoppy & roasted bitterness that gently lingers.
