Beer Description
Biere de Miele – Aged in Red Wine barrels. Unique and expressive, Incredulous Laughter is a beer deeply connected to the land through the use of locally-sourced, specialized ingredients. This beer features buckwheat honey sourced from Swarmbustin’ Honey in West Grove, PA. Yeast, Brettanomyces, and natural bacterias went to town on fifty pounds of this thick, dark, molasses-like honey during the fermentation process. The result is a light, dry, moderately tart beer absent of cloying sweetness, contrary to what you might expect from the the robust, earthy and malty flavor inherent to the honey.
