Beer Description
May just wouldn’t be May without it! The word “Mai” literally means May in German…..funny how that works out. Emmett’s Maibock is one of the prettiest beers we brew here. It has a dense, brilliantly white head, and deep straw color that reminds me of the summer sun. The aroma of the Maibock can’t be overlooked. The fresh scent of spicy German hops mingling with the rich aromatics of German malt is hard to beat. One sip of this beer starts a journey that will bring you to spring time blissfulness. Our Maibock is somewhat full bodied, with a warm malt character and subtle honey-like quality. Hops are not to be ignored in this beer. While not overly hoppy, there is a nice underlying bitterness and a mild but bright, spicy hop flavor. The Maibock finishes with a rounded sweetness and herbal hop kiss. Delicious! 27IBU.
