Beer Description
Pre-Prohibition lager. An homage to what existed in the early days of American beer we designed a rendition of what the most well known American Rice Lager may have looked like to a consumer circa 1900.
We combined the finest Czech malt, Rice and Saaz we could get out hands on and added our own “original” twist by incorporating Sládek, a new Czech hop that wouldn’t have been available back then but that helps reinforce the Saazer-type noble flavors and also provides a lovely bergamot note of its own. A New American Classic and an “Original Recipe,” a marriage of crackers malt sweetness and a hearty dosing of hops.
