Beer Description
To start we brewed up a light 4% ABV Berliner Weisse for the base. From there, we conditioned the beer on a healthy dose of Cherry and Cranberry Purée along with Lemongrass and Juniper to help recreate the fruity, herbal, flavors of the cocktail.
Mixed Up: Alt Jams is an all-new three way collab with our friends at Alternate Ending and Talulas Pizza. Inspired by Asbury Park-based Talula’s legendary Gin & Jam cocktail, we got our heads together with Alternate Ending to brainstorm how exactly to pull this one off. To start we brewed up a light 4% ABV Berliner Weisse for the base. From there, we conditioned the beer on a healthy dose of Cherry and Cranberry Purée along with Lemongrass and Juniper to help recreate the fruity, herbal, flavors of the cocktail. Pouring a pale orange color with a soft pinkish hue, we’re getting notes reminiscent of botanical-heavy spirits, tart grapefruit juice, light cranberry, and fresh lemongrass. This one is all beer, hold the Gin!
