Beer Description
It’s Oktoberfest , that magickal time where grown men dress in leather & suspenders getting swervy on sweaty meat phalluses the world around. And pretzels, so many pretzels.
With all the fest beers to pick from, the sweaty meat phalluses here at IBW tried something different. Instead of a traditional Marzen, we’ve used Omega Yeast’s wonderful Lutra kveik strain that is lovingly called the pseudo-lager yeast. You get all the clean, clear, crisp & slightly fruity beauty of a lager yeast without hogging our fermenters too terribly long. And you get a fresh perspective on a seasonal beer of which, let’s face it, there is an embarrassment of riches already of riches already.
So, here’s to Mock Turtle Necks, our Mocktoberfest Marzen and here’s to timeless, well-worn high-fashion everywhere.
