Beer Description
Bright and golden with a slight orange hue, this beer is brewed with grapefruit and double dry hopped with Simcoe and Citra, leaving a tasteful bitterness with pithy and sweet grapefruit notes.
For eleven long hours, cannons bombarded the fort’s shore in 1862. Only until the end, surrender was never a thought as an overwhelming force was laid upon those Macon waves.
As a tribute, we brewed this slightly hazy Double India Pale Ale. Bright and golden with a slight orange hue, this beer is brewed with grapefruit and double dry hopped with Simcoe and Citra, leaving a tasteful bitterness with pithy and sweet grapefruit notes.
