Rip Current Chocolate Mustache Stout

5.7% sweet (mustache) stout aged on a free-trade, organic Ecuadorian cacao nibs which impart a complex de-bittered chocolate flavor which we soften with vanilla and the lactose showing through from the underlying sweet stout. The resulting beer is a great drinkable, low alcohol desert beer that is a favorite particularly those with a sweat tooth. This beer was our first collaboration with a homebrewer. Chris Stawney is a close friend to the brewery and came up with the idea and receipe for this beer. His beer was submitted to the Stone Pro/Am competition in 2011 but despite winning the popular vote wasn’t selected. Their decision is our gain since we’ve always enjoyed this beer. Thanks Chris!
