Beer Description
Brought back by popular demand! This version of Honeycreeper we paired up with the good folks at Off Balance Meadery to create this beautiful Beer/Mead hybrid. We took our strong belgian dark ale and laid it to rest in an elijah craig bourbon barrel for a short 4 month slumber to pick up some complexities, a dash of oak, and just a touch of bourbon to round this beer our. We took our cherry crop from our Orchard and added it to the barrel. We then met up with our friends and had them ferment a batch of their award winning traditional mead and then blended them together to create a beer that is both delicious, but yet balanced. Tart, honey, residual sweetness, and stone fruit.
