Beer Description
Pouring this beer into a glass reveals a clear, deep gold color, liquid topped by a dense white head. Expect classic Czech Pilsner notes of rich bready maltiness combined with a pronounced yet soft and rounded bitterness and floral and spicy hop flavor.
Czech style Pilsner brewed to be a very traditional example of the style. This is our first beer using decoction during the brewing process. 12 Degree is a single decoction, meaning we took a portion of the mash, boiled it, and then returned it to the rest of the mash. Touching down at a 4.7% ABV, this beer also features grain from the Czech Republic, Czech Saaz hops, and a strain of yeast made famous by @pilsner.urquell in the Czech Republic.
