Beer Description
We think there’s little better way to explore the nuances of our most recent New Zealand hopped pale ale than with a versatile pair of cargo shorts filled with all your tasting tools! We named Cargo Shorts after our favorite Kiwi’s favorite attire, and this crisp light pale ale lets all those New Zealand hops shine! Cargo Shorts pours a crystal clear golden hue with bright highlights and white head. Fruity aromas of plum and blackberry are balanced by assertive diesel and fresh juniper foliage notes. The mouthfeel is bright and crisp with a lasting assertive bitterness into the finish. A surprisingly dry palate features subtle fresh cracker malt character to compliment similar subtle fruit notes and classic pine forward hop character. Light and hop forward at a crushable 5.5% ALC/VOL, Cargo Shorts is the perfect beer to celebrate New Zealand and our warm weather. Cheers!
