Beer Description
(512) White IPA is our first summer beer and we’re very excited to share it. Brewed with 75% malted barley and 25% malted white wheat, it has just enough wheat to smooth out the dry, crisp finish.
It was first wort hopped with Nugget and then hopped again very late in the boil with Caliente and Mosaic hops. The result imparts citrus and stone fruit notes with a clean finish. Classically, coriander and orange peel were added to layer in subtle Belgian spice character.
We fermented with Belgian Ardennes yeast which were allowed to free rise during fermentation and we finished this hybrid beauty by dry hopping with more Mosaic, Caliente, and Chinook hops. A session-worthy hoppy pale ale that stands up to summer!
