Beer Description
Toucan pays homage to an old and favorite Irish Nitro Stout mascot, but adds a touch of our own Lafayette brewery character. Toucan pours from the nitro faucet with classic and beautiful cascading foam that settles bottom up, a long lasting and smooth light brown head, and a deep dark chocolate hue once settled. Fantastic aromas of malted chocolate, bread crust, and a touch of toffee waft from your glass. Toucan is supremely silky on the palate with a quickly diminishing mouthfeel. Big flavors on the palate of dark roasted coffee, fresh bread, and cacao nib are contrasted by a surprisingly low bitterness and lasting flavors. Our perfect Irish Stout embodies a favorite drinking holiday with a highly crushable and flavorful smooth nitro beer. Sláinte!
