Beer Description
The Devil Asks No Questions – Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine 14.5%
We went all in.
Double mash to get the most amount of sugar available. Extended boil to concentrate and increase body and texture. Then slowly aged in a 10yr Elijah Craig Barrel for 19 months. Extracting the oak tannins, vanillin, and all of that bourbon spice.
Ultimately, resulting in a perfect blend of malt and oak. Cacao husk, caramel chips, baking spice, and coconut.
All from the barrel and the beer. No other ingredients were needed.
