Philadelphia Runners Ale

The Philly 10K on September 6th. The 6.2 mile race runs through the heart of the city starting on East Passyunk Avenue. The race winds through a dozen Philly neighborhoods past row homes, markets and restaurants. Philadelphia Runner’s Ale is a 4.5% session IPA that will be available on draft only at the Post Race Street Festival on East Passyunk and at participating bars and restaurants. A research study conducted by Dr. Manuel J Castillo, Professor of Medical Physiology School of Medicine at the University of Grenada discovered that beer has positive re hydration effects after physical exertion. It has become a tradition here in Philadelphia for some running clubs to enjoy a beer at the end of a run by toasting “To the professor!”.
