To celebrate the return of our Kölsch, we pulled some aside and “dry beaned” it with coffee (Kaffee to our German friends) from the Pioneer Coffee Roasting Company.
To celebrate the return of our Kölsch, we pulled some aside and “dry beaned” it with coffee (Kaffee to our German friends) from the Pioneer Coffee Roasting Company. We really like the result, which layers the aroma of fresh-roasted coffee beans on top of the lightly sweet character of the Kölsch. The flavor is just ever so slightly tinged with coffee, letting the gentle fruit and pils malt flavors remain on center stage.
