Kane 1095 3rd Anniversary Ale

ONE THOUSAND NINETY-FIVE, our third anniversary beer, has the added benefit of more advanced planning. Shortly after our second anniversary we once again brewed our favorite Belgian-style quad recipe. However, since we were a year ahead of schedule, we racked the entire batch into oak bourbon barrels were it sat until only very recently, awaiting the 730 that had also been aging in barrels to be blended into it. The result is that for the first time, all of the components of our anniversary ale were bourbon barrel aged. So, 1,095 contains barrel aged 730, and barrel aged 730 contains barrel aged 365. By continuing in this fashion, all subsequent annual releases will contain a portion of our past beers, from 365 to the most recent.
