Beer Description
A German Style Kellerbier. The term Kellerbier translates literally as “cellar beer”, referring to its cool lagering temperature and storage. The style is relatively unknown in North America, but in Bavaria it is one of the most popular beer garden selections. It is unfiltered, naturally carbonated, and conforms to the “Reinheitsgebot” or German Beer Purity Law which states that beer can only be brewed with four ingredients: water, malt, hops, and yeast. It is smooth, refreshing, and finishes clean with both noticeable hop and malt notes in balance. At 4.4% ABV it is very drinkable and leaves room to have another.
