Beer Description
The aroma is grainy and fruity with notes of berries, licorice and banana. The palate is creamy. The beer has a more bitter flavor than I first expected, which fades to juicy berry complexity. Esters dominate in the way of banana and cloves, but the overall experience is less intense than a typical dubbel so it never gets overwhelming. The palate is certainly lighter for the style but the beer doesn’t necessarily skimp on flavor.
