Beer Description
The Genius is our take on a hoppy West Coast Pale Ale. Warrior and Simcoe provide the majority of the bittering while the Citra hops carry the aromatics of the beer. Being a West Coast Pale Ale and named for the founder of football’s west coast offense, 49ers coach Bill Walsh, this pale ale had to be dialed in at 49 IBU’s to pay tribute. The complex blending of malt varieties provide a desired sweetness and pale orange color that balances nicely with the characteristics of the American hops used.
