Beer Description
This Black IPA, just like the iconic album it references, is a complex and rich journey that weaves in and out of many different elements yet maintains a cohesive theme. At 7.1% ABV, Dark Side of the Hop gets “On the Run” with a creamy and chocolaty first breath thanks to the addition of midnight wheat. Given some “Time”, Dark Side finishes dry with a crisp hop profile full of piney, earthy and peppery notes accompanied by some rounded fruit characteristics. It offers great value for your “Money” and is proof that IPA’s can be “Any Colour You Like.” It’s an “Eclipse” over lighter IPA’s, just in time for fall, and is best paired with your favorite retrospective, psychedelic rock album.
