Beer Description
City of the Dead, a 7.5% ABV export stout spiked with 140 lbs of bourbon barrel-aged coffee.
Green, unroasted coffee is added to a freshly emptied bourbon barrel for three months. Then the coffee is lightly roasted and steeped in the cold beer still in the fermentor. The beer itself is not bourbon barrel aged.
