Beer Description
A classic Belgian style with notes of candy, pineapple, and spiced orange. This beer finishes dry from candi sugar in the kettle and Saaz flameout hops. The 7% ABV leaves a warming sensation and hints of warm plum.
This Belgian Style Triple is fermented with an abbey ale yeast and triple hopped with spicy/fruity hops. A bit of orange plays of the yeast nicely as emerging alcohol’s finish in the end balancing the dryness. The intertwining aspects of spicy/banana/and pineapple esters from the yeast balance nicely with the hops additions and leave a subtle bitterness at the end. Inspired by our good friend and current brewer for New Belgium Zak (Slinger) Danielson.
