Beer Description
A traditional farmhouse ale that dates back to the origin of agriculture in Southern Belgium. At harvest time the farms would need a large quantity of thirst quenching, nourishing beer to enable their seasonal workers, known as as Saisonniers to work all day in the grueling sun. Our recipe was created with this in mind. It rings in at 6.6 % ABV and approx 25 IBUs because beer was traditionally brewed in the winter and had to be light but strong enough to preserve it for the following year’s harvest season.
