Beer Description
Clyde is a powerful, brooding cider. This unfiltered cider has a golden, opaque presentation. The nose is strongly influenced by the Heirloom apple blend as well as the yeasts that were preserved in the final product. The first taste of the product is the consumers first introduction to the organic maple syrup and organic honey that are used to smooth the cider. This quickly gives way to the heart of the product, raw fermented heirloom cider apples. Oak and vanilla notes from the barrel aging and a tight tannin feel from the heirloom apples complement the herbal and yeasty elements of the base apple wine. The finish contains a touch of sweetness mixed with the lingering tannins.
