Beer Description
Our kitchen crew took 160 pounds of raw sweet potatoes, boiled and mashed them, added brown sugar & dropped them into a mash. This candied potato porter highlights crystal & carapils malts that add caramel tones while it’s starches lighten the body creating a smooth drinking porter. More of a brown porter than a robust one, this ale shies away from the traditionally roasted & chocolate tones typically associated with porters.
