Beer Description
This is the first Tighthead beer created by our brewer Adam. He started with a blend of 7 malts, hopped it up with Galaxy and Centennial hops, fermented it dry with our house ale yeast, then aged it in second-use Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels for 5 months. The resulting complex strong ale has a whiskey-like nose with vanilla and caramel notes and a bitter dark chocolate flavor with a dry, warming finish. βTHIS IS SOME AWESOME SAUCE!β
