Just in time for the Old Chicago Cinco de Mayo Tour, Dry Dock debuts the Dry Dock Cool lime lager. Dry Dock Cool is a light lager that’s 5.2% ABV with 12 IBU’s. Brewed with Mexican Lager Yeast, and three types of lime, this beer is kind of like vacation
Just in time for the Old Chicago Cinco de Mayo Tour, Dry Dock debuts the Dry Dock Cool lime lager. Dry Dock Cool is a light lager that’s 5.2% ABV with 12 IBU’s. Brewed with Mexican Lager Yeast, and three types of lime, this beer is kind of like vacation in a glass. Each batch of Cool is brewed with 160 pounds of fresh Mexican limes that give it a hint of lime-skin bitterness and sharp lime juice flavor. Six pounds of finely chopped Kaffir lime leaves are used to give Cool its minty-lime-aromatics. We also use 14 pounds of whole dried limes (which are very potent due to lack of water content) in the whirlpool to really round out the fruit flavor, pulling it all together.
