Beer Description
A collaboration with winemakers Ross Wise and Greg Yemen. Imperial Stout aged in Moldavian Cigar Barrels with Sour Cherries for 10 months.
Wine makes Ross and Greg from Flat Rock Cellars descended on our old brewery on Bathurst St to help us create this one-of-a-kind beer. Aged in Flat Rock Pinot Noir Barrels for nine months with brettanomyces and lactobacillus, this beer has a rich aroma of dark fruit and chocolate with a tarty cherry body and a dry cocoa finish. At 9% ABV, our Sour Cherry Imperial Stout will continue to evolve in the bottle for the next two years.
