Beer Description
A style drawing its history from the Trappist monasteries of Belgium, Dubbel encompasses nearly everything a drinker could want in an early Springtime beer. Malty without being overly sweet. Yeast-driven without being over-the-top. Just enough of each component. Rich malt-derived aromas of caramel, toffee, and figs, are balanced with yeast-derived notes of plums, prunes, and light banana. These elements repeat themselves in the flavor profile, before giving way to a spritzy, semi-sweet finish.
