Island Hopper is a very special version of our Manitou Amber Ale featuring more intense hop character overlying the classic Manitou malt body.
Island Hopper is a very special version of our Manitou Amber Ale featuring more intense hop character overlying the classic Manitou malt body. The Spring 2015 Edition features rare, locally grown “Sirrine Sinsemilla” whole cone hops, a wild hop variety cultivated by Dr. Rob Sirrine, Michigan State University Extension Hop Specialist, based in Leelanau County. A robust, malty, amber body is offset by forward citrus and pine notes, culminating in a dry, clean finish with a slight lingering bitterness.
