Scorched Earth Zwickelbier

Ahh, southern Bavaria in the summer…warm pretzels, dancing and singing in the bier gardens, lagers pouring from public fountains…Taking inspiration from so many wonderful lagers in and around that region, we created a lager for the summer using traditional European raw materials, fermented in accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516 (Reinheitsgebot). Complex malt sweetness with notes of honey, biscuit, bread, and light caramel are balanced by flowery, noble hop bitterness.
