Beer Description
Portland Pale Ale – an Oast Ale. What’s an Oast Ale? It’s a Portland Brewing exclusive that’s spiced with distilled oil from the rare hop Brewer’s Gold. We harvest the prized hop in the Willamette Valley, ship it to England for distilling, and ship it back in the form of hop oil which we then add to our beer as a finishing touch. The results of our transatlantic efforts? A crisp, refreshing summer ale that’s bursting with floral-hops aroma with none of the usual hops bitterness. Portland Pale Ale is available April through August.
