Its 8.8% ABV malt base balances with 8 separate additions of hops, 108 IBUs, & a foolishly generous dry-hop to make this denizen of the deep a lupulin delight.
Hammerhead combines a carefully selected malt base, three varieties of boil hops, and a generous dry-hop to form an India Pale Ale with exceptional balance.
Reaver’s Salvation is a farmhouse-style ale refermented with watermelon in oak barrels with brettanomyces, and wild yeast and souring bacteria native to our Coastal Virginia home.
The Reaver is produced using a fermentation/aging/blending method called Solera. “Solera” is a winemaking technique also called “fractional blending”, which makes the end product of mixed age.
At Reaver Beach Brewing, our creations are fueled by steam, by precision, and by inspiration. But there’s something more that pilots us – passion. This passion drives us to strive for excellence and to ask more of ourselves and our beer. With our beer, you’re getting the sum of quality ingredients, hard work, and dedicated patience. The result is something we find beautiful, not just because it has great flavor, but because it’s something we made with our hands. We hope you enjoy drinking our beer as much as we did brewing it.
