Bold, Brave, Adventurous
As two local craft beer enthusiasts and home brewers, Todd Becker and Bob King decided to open a craft brewery close to home in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. They soon decided upon the historic town of Flemington. Having selected a new, unfinished building to house the brewery, they have had the opportunity to design the brewery from the ground up. Tantamount in their minds was creating the rarely found quality in craft breweries — a large, comfortable environment wherein their enthusiastic clients would enjoy meeting, laughing and tasting excellent beer.
Head Brewer
Alex joined Lone Eagle Brewing just prior to the Grand Opening in July, 2016. Alex earned a degree in Brewing Technology from the Siebel Institute of Technology. He worked as an assistant brewer at Dock Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, after which he was a brewer at DogFish Head in Milton, Delaware. Alex is quickly becoming known for his ability to brew great beer as evidenced by our Gold Medal at 2017 Atlantic City Beer Festival for our Maiden Flight West Coast Style IPA and Bronze Medal at 2018 Atlanic City Beer Festival for our Staion Lager, a Vienna Sytel Lager.
Assistant Brewer
Dillon graduated from Lehigh University. He quickly realized that hanging out in a cubicle from nine to five wasn’t very enjoyable, and decided to pursue his dream of getting covered in hops, yeast, and beer on a regular basis. Dillon previously worked in production at Cape Cod Beer in Hyannis, MA, before joining Lone Eagle Brewing in October 2017.
