De Dolle Brouwers is a Belgian brewery in Esen in the municipality Diksmuide .
The brewery exists under the current name since 1980. That year, the four friends recently closed brewery Costenoble about. The name De Dolle Brouwers is derived from the cycling club of friends, De Dolle Trotters. Of the four, only the current brewer Kris Herteleer still active in the brewery.
The brewery has national and international fame with beers as Oerbier , Arab and Silent Night . All beers are fermented with secondary fermentation in the bottle. Annual production is around 1000 hectoliters, or about 300,000 bottles. Characteristic are the striking, by Herteleer designed labels.
