This is a single hop American Barleywine with abundant amounts of American two-row barley and crystal malts, couple with a long boil, giving Arete its signature caramel and toffee-like flavor...
Our team decided what would be better than having our first beer be our personal ‘session’ beer of choice — a hop-forward west coast style American IPA.
Pouring turbid gold with a white head, huge juicy tropical fruit aroma, restrained bitterness, soft mouthfeel, with passionfruit, peach, and citrus fruit on the palate.
Downpour is named after the sudden thunderous downpour that hit the Elevation Team during a “team building” trip of paddle boarding and beer at Chaffee County’s Cottonwood Lake...
Downpour balances on the boarder between malt and huge hop flavors, much like the balance between warm summer days and the bitter cold thunderstorms we get here in the high country of Colorado...
Our first of the Brewers Playground Series is a stylistic oddity, reminiscent of a Saison mixed with a Trippel, with a dash of Belgian Strong Golden Ale...
With this beer we wanted to pay tribute to the barley farmers of Colorado, many of whom toil just an hour south of the brewery in the San Luis Valley, nestled underneath beautiful Mount Blanca...
This Summer Seasonal Imperial saison with its notes of clove, spice, lemon, and citrus is a perfect pairing with the floral notes wafting through the high mountain trails of Chaffee County and beyond.
About the brewery
Elevation Beer Co. is an artisan microbrewery located in Poncha Springs, Colorado just outside Salida. We all had the same dream of starting a brewery that brewed the highest quality barrel aged and specialty beers we could imagine. At the same time we all dreamed of living in an area of Colorado that would allow us to sneak out of the brewhouse to catch a four-pound trout, hike a 14,000-foot peak, or slash through some of Colorado’s famous powder. In the winter of 2012 we made our dreams a reality and took the leap and started brewing in Poncha Springs, Colorado.
