Hand pressed from a select variety of apples, this is the champagne of hard ciders - crisp, dry and fresh. Poured over ice, it is an exilarating experience.
Turns out that oak and cider go well together - the oak instills a bit of backbone into the cider, adding a nice edge alongside the fermented apple. Get a taste of that pioneering spirit with our Old Oak.
Our facility is located in East-Central Iowa close to the historic Cedar River crossing at Sutliff, Iowa thus inspiring our name. Best known for its old trestle bridge, Sutliff is a small, unincorporated town that attracts visitors looking for a scenic drive or bike ride. Our cider facility is about five miles north of the town along Sutliff Road between Lisbon and Sutliff. We utilize two of our historic farm buildings to press the apple juice, ferment, and bottle our delicious products.
