About the brewery
The Weltenburg Abbey Brewery is the oldest Abbey Brewery in the world. Since anno 1050 the noblest beer is brewed here in the tradition of the Benedictine monks. Today we are still bound by this dignified tradition. The great popularity of Weltenburg Abbey Beer is due to this high art of brewing – strictly in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law.
