About the brewery
The Great Crescent Brewery completed an expansion in mid-2011 to include a 10 BBL steam fired brewhouse and 6 new fermenters. We started out in a storefront area on 2nd street in Aurora, IN and moved in early 2010 to our own building located on the corner of Mechanic and Importing streets in downtown Aurora, IN.
Our name – Great Crescent Brewery, comes from the successful and widely known Crescent Brewing company that existed in Aurora, IN from 1873-1899. Our goal continues to craft as much fresh beer as possible and make it available to all that enjoy fresh, hand-crafted beer.
