About the brewery
Mudshark Brewery…..started out when the Stocking family relocated in the 70’s from upstate New York to be a part of Robert McCulloch’s dream of turning a small desert land along the Colorado River into a beautiful city with a unique tourist draw, the London Bridge.
Since 1984, Mudshark has kept this tradition alive. Scott Stocking opened his first store, Mudshark Pizza and Pasta. Then 14 years later, and four “little sharks”, he literally saw the light…the craft light that is. Scott Stocking opened Mudshark Brewery and Restaurant in 1998 and along with that brought to the river its first craft can, the Dry Heat Hefeweizen.
