About the brewery
OUR STORY
Owner Brad Sancho had a passion for homebrewing that led him to leave a successful engineering position in 2008 to realize his dream of opening a microbrewery. Growing up in southeastern Michigan, part of that vision was to create a place with a neighborhood feel that could be an important part of the community. Milan was a perfect fit, and Original Gravity Brewing Co. has become synonymous with the best parts of the growing city.
OG is a small town, family friendly microbrewery that prides itself on fantastic beer and awesome deli sandwiches. From classic styles to experimental brews, we’re always trying to have fun. With full views of our 7 bbl stainless steel brewing system, our focus is on an outstanding taproom experience. Have a pint while playing an old-school arcade game, Jenga or Connect 4, or catching the game on one of our flat screen TVs.
Come check out one of our wide variety of events throughout the year, from Taco Tuesdays to Farmers Markets to Trivia Night. And there’s nothing quite like relaxing with a cold brew on our spacious outdoor patio while listening to a live band on a warm summer night.
