Whiskey with hops and honey
Secret Ingredient is our Beer/Whiskey Collaboration with Temescal Brewing. We started this project over a year ago when our friends from Temescal came down to the distillery to brew up a small batch of Double IPA that we distilled into a whiskey and set to age for the next year.
Just two weeks ago we each brewed the same beer at our own facilities and had to incorporate a Secret Ingredient selected by the other brewery into our beer. Temescal sent us a beautiful pale of Lime Tree Honey that we added in post-fermentation and added in post-barrel-age to the finished whiskey.
