Spirit Description
A uniquely lush and verdant gin distilled with 8 botanicals including grapefruit, organic thyme and lavender. The Scandinavian woman’s name Solveig (the “g” is silent) has deep Nordic roots, combining the elements “sol” sun and “veig” strength. We love both the history and the sound of Solveig – soulful, strong and bright. Just like our gin.
Solveig was our first love and first release, and the flavor is inspired by how lush and green the prairie smells after it rains in early June. It’s soft, ethereal, and lightly floral with citrus notes that dominate the juniper ~ a gin for people who don’t think they like gin.
