Hog Wash Grenache Rosé

Hogwash Rosé is a blend of fruit from two classic, iron laden Rhone vineyards: Alamo Ranch Vineyard in the Central Coast of California and Eagle Point Ranch in the cold southeastern corner of Mendocino County. The fruit was handpicked at night and then meticulously cold fermented in stainless steel barrels. Most of this lot was made using a classic saignée method, but our drive to produce a classic Provence-style Rosé led us to harvest a ton from Eagle Point right after veraison. Fermenting on the skins yielded a far-reaching and time-honored wine; a wine lower in alcohol and brimming with an elegant vibrancy and bright flair.
