Merlot is one of the world’s most popular grapes because of its smooth concentration of fruit and flavor. Our Merlots contain soft tannins and ripe bouquets of fruit and a silky texture. Merlot was first planted in California in the 1860s. Our cool climate in the Livermore Valley and the Central Coast allows these grapes to ripen to their potential, creating flavorful vintages year after year. Our Merlot is best served just below room temperature to enhance the velvety flavor characteristics.
