Wine Description
The fruit was hand harvested at night and gently pressed before being moved to small French oak barrels for fermentation.
The vintage of 2015 began with a dry spring, followed by a summer with mild days and cool evenings which slowly brought our Russian River Chardonnay to the peak of ripeness in mid September. After fermentation was complete, the yeast lees were stirred weekly which enhanced the body and gave the wine a distinct character that can only come from aging “sur lie”.
