Beer Description
The Flemish tradition of locally brewed brown Ale can be found in our old brown Paulus. The dark brown color with a slightly tanned foamy head, are inviting you to enjoy the slightly sugary sweet and very discreet sour aroma with slightly toasted malty notes. The sour flavor, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation brings out the caramel taste with a mildly sour-grape. The aftermath complements the slightly fusty woody touch; sweet and shy sour-fruity finish.
