HAZY FOR DAYS. Summer is almost here, which means it’s about that time your palate starts craving lighter beer. And you just can’t talk about Arkansas summer beer without talking about hefeweizens. The humble hefe, though not as sexy as the saison, is super effervescent and flavorful and remains one of the most prominent styles in the country for reason… it’s delicious, it’s rich in flavor yet light, it’s drinkable, and it’s got one hell of a history. Though many American style hefe’s offer more hoppy and yeasty characteristics, our Summer Batch Hefe leans towards the traditional German style – heavy on banana and clove aromas and flavors.
